First Watch

Had a great brunch at the newly opened First Watch in Bastrop with my mom and sisters. There was a bit of a wait (totally expected for a new spot), but it was worth it. Our server, Nessa, was fantastic—super friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was really good. The strawberry French toast and Million Dollar Bacon were highlights, and the tomato basil soup was spot on. My sister called her egg sandwich “magical,” which says a lot! I had the Classic Eggs Benedict and it was delicious. I also love how accommodating they are and next time I’ll be getting my Eggs Benedict on their sourdough instead of the ciabatta. Great food, great service, and a great addition to Bastrop. We’ll definitely be back!

Despite waiting 1hr35min to be seated, giving five stars because the food was really good and service was great. Great addition to Bastrop for sure. Many healthy options which Bastrop was lack of.
