We really enjoy First Beach! It’s peaceful and not too crowded on weekdays, making it an ideal spot for families. The playground is a perfect way for kids to dry off and play after swimming before hopping back into the car. Admission is very reasonable — $5 for a day pass (which you can pay right at the beach) or $40 for a yearly pass (available at the office by the dam). We usually bring floaties, kid kayaks, sand toys, and plenty of snacks for a fun, relaxing day. Highly recommend for a low-key beach outing with little ones!
Was very impressed with this beach..I've always went to the other and we went to this 1 and was so much cleaner..also kiddos to the life jackets that was available for the littles..I took my grandbabies with me and this was a huge bonus❤💙
One of the best public beaches around Stockton. Tons of space without being packed . Pretty clean beach also not to rocky either.
Loved it!!! Kids loved it!!! Lots of fun! Clean super affordable day trip.
Beautiful but the water is way down.
