Fireplace Restaurant

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC PERFORMANCE! I ordered the Chicken Parm stuffed shells from their house specialties and was not impressed. There’s nothing special about their “Fireplace specialties”. For $15 you get a total of two shells and the smallest piece of chicken I’ve ever seen after working over 2 years in other restaurants. I had to leave and go find a more suitable place to get food in order to eat enough for dinner. 10/10 would NOT recommend!!

Spontaneous stop on a Sunday night - very glad we didn't keep driving! Excellent selection of beef, chicken and fish at very affordable prices. Family atmosphere and helpful, attentive staff. Very generous portions. Wish we had had room for dessert!

I wanted to like Fireplace as it is a local establishment with a retro vibe and the service here was great, but the food wasn't. The menu is WAY to big and all four of us at the table were in agreement with a menu this big there zero chance it can be good Most of the food was frozen and fried items you really do not want to pay $20 for and the rest was precooked and bland. The steak one of us ordered look decent and was cooked to the correct temperature so that's a plus I guess.

I couldn't decide between steak or fish--and then I realized that I could order both as a dish! So I got the Haddock steamed---which I highly esteemed! It was great. I got also a sirloin steak with a side of baked potato and some tasty clam chowder. I ordered the sirloin medium rare but it was cooked well but that's OK. And there was a "brief episode" as I was eating the sirloin where I almost wondered if it was liver? Because they do serve "liver & onions" which I also love. But I'll just still say it was an awesome sirloin :) And as I said earlier, the steamed Haddock was very good. I might try the "red snapper" next time. Overall, very good food with good prices!

First time eating here place was welcoming and comforting service was great and the was delicious we will definitely be back with pictures next time !
