Firehouse Subs Yucca Valley

I ordered a small Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket and it was maybe 4 inches long. I thought it was a slider, I kid you not. I politely asked the manager about the portion size, thinking that perhaps I had in fact ordered a slider, and he threw me attitude. Save your money and don't expect anything resembling customer service.

Service was ok. Got my food a large hook and ladder and my order was wrong after the lady said everything back to me. I don't come here often but I was very disappointed and my bread wasn't toasted and felt like as if it was in water. My 2nd sandwich a small hook and ladder was right and looked at tasted good. As a food place that isn't very cheap you would want your money worth and I did not get my money worth out of my large sandwich.

The food was pretty good. However, the man who took my order (Kevin) made it an incredibly uncomfortable experience. From the moment I walked in he was hostile and condescending. I had just gotten off work and I was tired and hungry. I asked a simple question about what soups they had and what was in the loaded potato soup and he treated the question as if it was ludicrous and an inconvenience to answer. I took my time figuring out what I wanted and he was once again completely abrasive as I ordered, if I didn't know better I would have said he had a personal grievance against me. After ordering I sat down, where I noticed him glaring at me multiple times while I waited for my order. It honestly made me very uncomfortable. The staff at the Yucca Valley restaurant are the very best. They never fail to call me by name and make me feel like a superstar. They even know what I order and start the order as I am walking into the restaurant. The food is put together beautifully; the environment is clean and welcoming every time!

The food, the service and everyone in the shop was very friendly. My order was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I was greeted very friendly and when I added extra items onto the order such as chips, etc. they were super accommodating and they even made sure to doublecheck they weren’t Overcharging me, but I let them know that I ordered the sandwiches ala cart.
