Firehouse Subs Pooler

Gentleman inside was kind. Ordered via DoorDash so I didn’t open until I was home already. Ordered large sandwiches but only got large bread 🫠

I ordered my sub with no mayonnaise no mustard. My receipt clearly shows no mayonnaise but you can see the sandwich is smothered and mayonnaise. I have been trying to call and can’t get anyone to answer.

I placed my dinner order online 20 minutes before arriving, but they only started making it after I got there. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes. The store was nearly empty, and there were only three of us waiting for pickup orders. They had more than twice as many employees as customers, yet I only saw one person actually working. The rest were chatting, taking selfies, or on their phones. Watching all this, I finally understood why my order was so delayed. But a new question came to mind: how does a place with so many employees doing nothing stay profitable? That mystery got solved when I got home and opened the bag — I ordered two subs with extra bacon and a garlic bread, and still only received the two subs. Older guy taking the order was rude and screwed the order up and overcharged us for stuff we never asked for. The younger girls making the sandwiches looked like they wanted to be anywhere but there working. Then the older guy goes right outside the door on his phone talking loudly and smoking a cigarette. There was a nasty dishrag sitting in the area where you get the straws. It's obvious that this place is on autopilot and nobody's in charge and nobody cared. The sandwich was a sloppy mess. I asked for no green peppers, and the sandwich was loaded with peppers. Note to person responding to all these bad reviews: stop saying you're disappointed by these experiences and FIX IT! This place is a joke and a hot mess. The 5 star reviews on here have got to be fakes.

I placed an order through the app and it was ready when I arrived. Food tasted great and was accurate!
