Firehouse Subs Milledgeville

There were several people working when we walked in. We were greeted. The young lady that assisted us was friendly and helpful, D'Asia. There was plenty of seating. Our sandwiches were ready fairly quickly. The restrooms were decent as was the rest of the restaurant. It's a fast food place so of course there's food near the trash can and perhaps on the floor or by the door entrance but nothing out of the ordinary. It wasn't especially clean but it also wasn't especially dirty.

Y'all need to put the 2 ladies who were working this afternoon through some customer service training or something. They don't acknowledge you at all until you say something to them. They literally look at you like you're wrong for coming in from the time you hit the door. And they gave my son attitude when he had to come back in and get the other brownie that they left out of my bag. He even brought the receipt. We know what we ordered. How about run me the food I paid for and do your job the correct way the first time? Normally, I'd let stuff like this slide beacuse it's not that serious, but that whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way.

This is my second visit here friendly staff. The subs we ordered were hot and good bread was soft. My only complaint was the cookies which were dry and needed to be thrown away. Stop serving cookies beyond the time on it. There is a reason why times are on it. Everything looked clean and organized.

*Update I received a satisfactory response regarding the pickle 😊 The Hook and Ladder is great... but the pickle leaves a lot to be desired. My advice, don't offer the pickle just to say you do. Sadly, the photo shows the pickle to be much larger than it was 😂.

Amy was amazing and sandwich was amazing. As a EMS personnel from ATL, I will never forget the amazing service.
