Firehouse Subs Amherstburg

We stumbled upon Fireside Subs after we attended the Pumpkin Festival at Northstar High School. My husband ordered the full size sub (I think it was the steak) and I ordered the meatball in the smaller size. That was our first but definitely not our last. We've been there several times already for our Saturday dinners, both of us determined to try every item on the menu. The staff are courteous, and the food comes in generous portions and is absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this place.

Subs are always good. Fresh. Crisp lettuce etc. This time I tried the chili and had a salad. The salad was very good. Very filling. The fact that you use the shredded lettuce allows for a large portion. Both are now added to my favourite list!!

The subs are great, even though they're expensive. However the chip selection has quickly dwindled away (there used to be several shelves) and many soft drinks are either never restocked or are only restocked infrequently. Get a sub, but not a combo.

Second time going to the Amherstburg location, and it’s been nothing but amazing. Service is always very friendly and informative of the types of subs :) Highly recommend!
