This modern bakery is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, the space feels bright, clean, and beautifully designed — it’s the kind of place you want to sit and stay awhile. The pastries are next-level. Flaky, buttery croissants, perfectly balanced desserts (not overly sweet!), and everything tastes incredibly fresh. You can tell real care goes into both the ingredients and the presentation. The staff are warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about what they’re creating. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or picking up treats for a special occasion, they make the whole experience feel special.

Cannot recommend this bakery enough. The menu had every option you could want in a cafe/bakery. Baked items were insane, especially the filled croissants. We tried the macaroon, pistachio cannoli, pecan cannoli, biscoff cream croissant, lavender latte and hot chocolate- all top tier, and some of which were free treats from the owner! Clean, bright environment. Not to mention the staff- so helpful, warm and welcoming.

visited Golden Oven European Bakery in Amherstburg after hearing amazing things, and let me tell yo. I drove all the way from Lakeshore and I would gladly do it again! The food is beyond delicious, but what truly sets this place apart is the incredible customer service. The owner and staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive from the moment we walked in. Although I didn’t order a sandwich, they looked incredible, beautifully prepared and described by the owner with such pride that you could tell they’re something special and definitely worth trying. We visited recently and after we had taken ample pictures of the delicious baked goods, upon mentioning our first time visiting, the woman behind the counter gave us a free treat!! The plain cannoli is anything but plain and I recommend 100%. There was another man behind the counter and both staff we saw were kind, friendly and very helpful. You get what you pay for in this world and Golden Oven European Bakery have quality baked goods! Thank you!

Service was amazing and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I have been twice now and EVERYTHING I've had is delicious. Love that the cakes are on little trays for an easy pack up. The biscoff croissant is my fav! You can tell that the owners put a lot of care into this place, it's beautiful, clean and delicious!
