Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

We sat at the bar (unfortunately a very large, awkwardly placed beer tap was directly in front of us). A bartender named Hayden took our orders. He was very pleasant and attentive. We were talking to a couple next to us and after we finished eating and the seat on the other side of the couple opened, I moved over there. I finished my drink and wanted another but the other bartender, Lucas who was now supposed to be taking care of us never looked our way. I finally had to get Hayden’s attention and asked him to tell Lucas I wanted a drink. But, Lucas was too busy talking to a guest on the other side of the bar. I finally got Lucas’ attention and got a drink. This kind of non attention to all guests is not acceptable in my opinion. Finally, the drink glasses are very small for the price. I’m

Great atmosphere, disappointing steak. I stopped in to Firebirds to grab a steak and catch Thursday Night Football. The ambiance was great…especially the roaring fire near the bar, which made the place feel warm and inviting. I added a salad for an extra $8 and it was super fresh and well done. Unfortunately, the meal fell short where it mattered most: the steak. My 12 oz cut tasted anywhere from bland to almost skunky. I’m not sure if it was the seasoning or something off with the meat, but it was nearly unbearable to eat - easily the worst steak I’ve had in a long time. Hard to understand how a steakhouse misses on the steak. It’s a shame, because the atmosphere was spot-on. But based on the experience, I probably won’t be back, even though I loved that fire.

Just had a fabulous mean. Lobster spinach queso appetizer was amazing. Had steaks and a really great cream brulee cheesecake dessert. Can't wait doe my next visit when I am here for kc games.

We had brunch today for my wife's Birthday. The food was amazing. The wait staff was amazing. They even brought out a free dessert for my wife. They wrote happy birthday on the plate,and all the employees signed a card. I was very impressed.

This is the second time eating at Firebirds, good salad, salmon was delicious, prices are reasonable for the quality of food, nice atmosphere and impeccable service.
