I thought the prices were fine, surprising to see people talking about that in the reviews. Considering everything is saffron infused it is well worth it. I enjoyed the eggplant appetizer. My main recommendation would be to improve the bread, nothing wrong with it but I have a feeling it wouldn’t be hard to swap it for something higher quality. The food was very good, we are excited to come back and try new stuff.
We ordered all the platters including almost everything on the menu. Food is good, but definitely overpriced. Management and service training also need more improvement.
Warm atmosphere. Limited menu currently, but everything we had was delicious. I ate almost half of it before remembering to take pictures. We had the 3 dips - all three were great but the kashk-e bademjan in particular blew us away! Also had the zereshk polo with chicken entree, and the chicken fell right off the bone. The boogh is a sour yogurt drink with mint that paired nicely with the food and was a big full glass. Plenty of food to take home, too, which I'm excited to eat tomorrow :)
A clean place for a Persian cuisine. However, Persian kebabs should’ve been cooked more and had a sharper taste of saffron (these are missing in this restaurant yet)! Their menu of kabobs is still limited (so some of their images on Maps are not proper representation of what they currently sell). I hope they cook their kabobs more and provide bigger portions of meat, specially for chicken kabobs.
I’ve been here twice, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. The first time I ordered koobideh with rice. The rice was undercooked, but I didn’t complain and just let it go. The second time I came with a friend. We ordered a sultani (koobideh and chicken kebab) and also zereshk polo with chicken. The portion of the Zereshk polo was extremely small, not even a full chicken leg, just a very small piece of chicken. The sauce had almost no flavor at all. There wasn’t even a hint of salt, lemon, or pepper. It basically tasted like diluted tomato paste. The chicken itself was completely bland. I’ve had the koobideh here twice. The first time it was cooked but didn’t really taste like proper koobideh, it lacked the flavor you expect from seasoned meat and fat. The second time, the
