An absolute hidden gem on the river! Honestly, I have lived in this area for a while now and had no idea this spot even existed. The drive up along the river was unexpectedly dramatic, you get these sweeping views of the Schuylkill and the trail that just set the tone immediately. We pulled up and could smell the woodsmoke from the fire pit instantly. It didn't feel like we were in PA anymore; it felt like we had been dropped somewhere in Scandinavia. The setup is really nice! The host was super helpful and walked us through everything without hovering. As someone who is particular about hygiene in public wellness spaces, I really appreciated the rules, everyone sits on towels in the sauna (which keeps cedar wood pristine and smelling amazing) and you rinse before the plunge. Had a first sauna+cold plunge experience with Fiorst and it was the most amazing wellness experience. The sauna was very relaxing, along with the beautiful view of the lake and the fireplace outside at sunset from the sauna room. Amazing place to refresh and reset your body!
