Fins Ale House & Raw Bar in Selbyville is one of my favorite spots. The oysters are fresh, the seafood is always cooked perfectly, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed with plenty of drink choices. Service has always been friendly and attentive. A great place to go with family or friends for consistently good food.

We started the meal off by ordering a Caesar salad and calamari. The calamari was very tender and cooked well, but the dipping sauces left a little to be desired. The sour cream and horseradish sauce was more bland than I expected it to be. The Caesar salad tasted great, but they included the heart of the romaine. I couldn't finish the salad because it had some grit in it. Next, we ordered cioppino, softshell crabs with broccolini, scallop risotto. The cioppino had a very rich broth and the seafood was cooked very well. The softshell crabs were ordered sauteed. They were prepared in a dredge of garlic, butter, and lemon and were cooked to perfection. The broccolini was very tender and cooked well. I also order a side of mac & cheese. It was very rich, but a little lacking in flavor. The sc

I highly recommend this place when coming to Ocean City, it has great food! One of my crabcakes was a little salty, lacked lump, and tasted like baywater, but the other had good lump meat and tasted great. The shrimp were good, and the scallops were amazing. My mashed potato and sweet potato fry sides were awesome, too. Two people who ordered salads were disappointed, though. Another party member got broiled rockfish and it was really good. This place also has the best calamari I have ever had. Squid is typically chewy but this was not, which was pleasantly surprising. I've never had it so good! Someone at our table had their food delayed because risotto needed a new batch made and some of us finished our meals before they got their food, but they took that meal off the bill which was inc

Fins had been one of our favorite places to dine. The food and service are usually fantastic and we live close, so we come by ourselves, with family, and with friends. Unfortunately this last visit was not stellar. We only ordered carryout and one of our favorite orders is the salmon blt. It is usually made with a generous piece of salmon and is delicious. When we got home we literally could not even see or find the salmon on the sandwich. It was buried under sauce and bacon - it would not even fill half of the sandwich - we literally thought they had left it off. We took it back and asked for it remade. The manager actually chided us and said that it was a 5 oz piece (looked like 3 oz) and it should have been cut in half and spread across the bread. He said they would remake it this time

Was in the area a couple weeks ago during the off season for a weekend getaway and decided to give Fins a try. Our waiter was friendly enough, but it took a while to order both drinks and then food, but once ordered, it came quickly enough. The drinks were poured with a heavy hand, but I suppose that's a good problem to have 😉 We had oysters (though I don't partake in them, my friend said they were delicious) and corned beef eggrolls (which I don't see on the menu now?!?) which were - in a word - AMAZING. I still think about them weeks later... For my meal, I had crab cakes, rice, and mac n cheese, though the mac n cheese was... weird, almost dry, if that's possible? My friend was aghast when I had to douse them in ketchup to make it through (it wasn't a cheap meal and I was hungry!). She
