Rippons Seafood West Fenwick

Had a taste for some steamed shrimp and was thrilled that the Selbyville location is open in the off season for us locals! Stopped in early afternoon and was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. I looked at what was available and decided on a 1/2 lb of steamed large shrimp, lightly seasoned. The gentleman went to work getting my order together, while he made small talk with me. I appreciate when employees/owners can do that, as it makes the visit even nicer. I took my order to go, paid, and left. They were perfectly steamed, perfectly seasoned, and just plain delicious! The shrimp were DEFINITELY large! I usually go to the 120th Street location, and feel like there is definitely consistency with taste, quality and product. Quick stop off on our way to the beach... Gave this place a try based on the other reviews. Guys inside we're very friendly. We ordered colossal clam strips platter, coconut shrimp platter and Moz sticks. Everything was delicious including the coleslaw and macaroni salads that came with our meals. While there we saw a guy buy a half bushel of crabs... Those had us green with envy. We will definitely be back for a bushel before the end of our trip.

Staff is friendly, everything seems to be stocked especially during the busy summer season, and they accommodate special requests within their restaurant. Recommend for all your fresh seafood needs.

Affordable food, decent prices, friendly staff. Good for available crabs when visiting town.

I grew up coming here, great local seafood market. I picked up some cleaned softshells recently, and they were delectable fried at home… The Jumbo Lump is also good here. Best Fenwick Seafood market!
