Filling Station Pub & Grill

A good example of how a home town diner should be. It's very clean, well decorated, and not overly expensive. It's actually a cross between a diner and sports bar. There is a great selection of food and drinks. They serve plenty of fresh foods like haddock and prime rib. Everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned well. This might be my new favor diner in town. Be sure to check out the decor, the owner must have collected the items for years.

I've never seen a business refuse to answer phone calls like this place. I have been trying to place a to-go order for lunch FOR OVER 30 minutes now and NO ONE is answering the phone. I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY. WHO IS RUNNING THIS PLACE? It would be one thing if this were a one-time occurrence but this is literally the 4th time this has happened in the past two weeks. What is so difficult about picking up the phone? My coworkers used to tell me avoid this place and I would tell them they were wrong and that I actually liked Filling Station. No more. I have a lot of meetings with clients that I occasionally take out to lunch and would have loved to bring them here, but I guess I'm not important enough to get someone to pick up the phone. Just went again.... couldn't resist the buff Mac and cheese! Balanced with the side salad! Enough to bring half home for lunch the next day. Yummy! My hubby got the surf and turf melt - he loved it. Big menu! Something for everyone. Great food. Cool atmosphere. The buffalo Mac and cheese is amazing and huge portions!

Daily specials a few days a week. Wing sauces are almost all house made and many excellent choices. Fish fry (every day item) was tasty but lacking in the French fry department, still would recommend it!

I've been there several times always had a good I had coconut shrimp and a quesadilla hamburger the food was terrible. The coleslaw was spoiled. I'm very disappointed and I probably will not go in again.
