Filiberto's Mexican Food

Our first time eating at Filiberto's in Quartzsite. No one in line at 1pm. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and helpful. We had our food fast. I'm a hot salsa girl, the red had nice heat and flavor. My man and I both ordered #3 two shredded beef crunchy corn tacos with rice and beans. Portions generous, tacos were crunchy and shred beef flavor was good. I do wish refried beans were hotter, their flavor and creaminess were great. I do think the floors needed to be cleaned. But the dribbles of food and salsa on floors could have been from a lunch crowd.

I ordered 2 tacos. Lengua and Carnitas. First of all. The lengua (beef tongue) was SO GOOD 🔥!!! So was the Carnitas! Second. These tacos are HUGE!!! I literally could have just ordered one but it's ok! I had left overs for later! Lol I can only imagine the rest of their menu to be just as good! Need to go back!

Delicious! My husband and I stopped here and ordered through the drive thru. They have a good selection of food. My husband had the gordo burrito (he says it was bomb) and I had the mar y tierra quesadilla (also bomb). Driving back to California satisfied.

Just left the Quartzsite location at 5:30 pm. Couldn’t even finish our taco and burrito. The meat was so old and crunchy. Must have been reheated numerous times. My husband had been there earlier in the day and couldn’t say enough good things about it. I think the meat must have been left over from the lunch crowd. We won’t be back. We went to the counter because the tables were all dirty and the clerk just handed us napkins. They weren’t even busy. He also doesn’t know how to welcome people to the store or smile.

The best Filiberto’s we have ever been to. It’s almost like a different restaurant than the ones in Phoenix. Everything just tastes fresher and they even have different salsa options. Delicious. We are considering taking a day trip here every now and then from Phoenix to get our fix
