Happened by Fiddlehead today and was lured in by menu in the door. We were greeted by Keegan (I hoped I spelled that right!) who brightened my day the second I saw him! We ordered and sat with our coffees and it was only a few minutes wait for our breakfast sandwiches. They were so good! I just get egg and cheese because I don’t eat meat and they had good bread options like croissants and biscuits. I’m not super adventurous, I know, but comparing that egg and cheese to the many other egg and cheeses I’ve had, this one is up there! It was delish Over medium was perfect and you can tell their flat top was super clean and the croissant was awesome. Jade was cooking and I did bother her to say thank you. I was met with a huge smile and a lot of kindness and appreciation. I also met Kate who w
I do not like to eat out. I do not enjoy sitting in restaurants, I love going to fiddlehead and spending time there on my own after a shift, or with my family. The staff is driven, the owner is kind and incredibly talented at cooking and his determination and expertise as a former gourmet chef is taught to the other cooks aswell. I didn't know a simple breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon and home fries could be so dang good. If you live in Herkimer or Albany, its worth the trip.
Incredible food (the Italian Greens Grinder is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had), attentive and friendly staff, creative vegetarian options. We drive an hour to get lunch here and it's worth it every time. Thank you!
If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, look no further than Fiddlehead Craft Sandwich. We've now had the pleasure of visiting this gem twice, and each visit has been exceptional. On our first visit, we went on a Sunday when they serve breakfast items. I had the mushroom omelet, and it was absolutely delicious. The omelet was filled with a variety of mushrooms, and they certainly didn't skimp on the ingredients. If you're a mushroom lover, this dish will win you over immediately. The flavors were rich, earthy, and incredibly satisfying. On our second visit, I tried the "Gochujang" avocado toast. Once again, Fiddlehead impressed me with their generous portions and bold flavors. The toast was topped with a healthy serving of kimchi and avocado, creating a delightful combinatio
My daughters and I stopped in for dinner. The food was great and the atmosphere was very chill. The host was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes when you go into small establishments, you get the impression that they only want locals there. This is was not the case at all. We felt very welcome there. I loved that their straws, plates and silverware are all compostable. I wish more restaurants would move to compostable dining utensils.
