Can I give six stars for atmosphere? Feels unusual and fancy, but still comfortable and cozy. Staff were friendly, helpful, and engaged. Food was very good. We were there a little on the late side and some of it seemed not quite fresh but it was still tasty.
Very good food undercut by potentially the worst service I’ve ever had. I was disappointed and surprised because it appeared like such a warm and friendly place.
Wonderful dining experience! The tavern is located in one of the oldest buildings in New Hampshire (built in the 1600s), which makes for a unique and warm atmosphere. There is a nice selection of appetizers, as well as large entrees.
The staff here is what makes this dining experience unforgettable. They really take care of their customers and the food is to die for! I recommend this spot to anyone traveling or around the area.
This spot has been a favorite for my family since 2011!
