Ferndale Area District Library

We've been going to FADL for ages and it's just such a wonderful library. Easy access if you're walking, riding a bike, taking the bus, or driving. There's a big event space up front that can be divided up and rented out. Friendly staff inside with all the multimedia you'd expect as well as a well-stocked library of things. Lots of little books and crannies to hang out, relax, and read a book or magazine. The kid's area is fantastic with tons of books and a nice play area for babies, toddlers, and little kids. If it's nice outside the attached pocket park is a great place to take in some fresh air and read in the shade.

This library is fantastic. You can check out video games, blu rays, various physical goods. I just printed and scanned important documents for little cost. This is very beneficial institution for the local area. They also have free WiFi. I go here often and it saves me a lot of money.

Wonderful library with outstanding staff. Always ready to order a resource that they don't have on hand. Love the Library of Things and the Friends Book Store. Very professionally put together, including the merch for sale. Love that there is a special welcoming atmosphere for teens and people temporarily unhoused. Lots of good public programs and a very nice courtyard out back. A true community treasure.

This is a very nice library. The staff has always been very pleasant when I've had to ask them a question. Also, even though it is not a large library, the new book section is always full of interesting materials to choose from.

Library is nice. Never seen libraries so crowded on a Sunday. Nice to know I’m not the only one being productive. Chairs are comfortable. Windows are nice and airy. For remote workers like me. That often have to sit for hours. Also saw there’s parking that you have to pay for. Not sure if that’s everyday.
