Fernando's Grille

I had lunch at Fernando's yesterday and it was fantastic! Their lunch specials menu offers soup or salad, a choice of several entrees, plus a dessert. It's an excellent value, and the food was delicious. The tomato chicken orzo soup was rich and flavorful, and the chicken francaise was among the best I've ever had. Tiramisu was the perfect ending to this meal which also included warm bread and butter. The service was attentive but not smothering, and my allergies were addressed with care. I highly recommend Fernando's and already plan on going back.

Fernandos is a local staple and one of our "reliable" choices. Anytime we want a consistently good meal, we go to Fernandos. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Would absolutely recommend their house salad (the dressing is amazing), the mushroom bisque (one of my favorite soups anywhere). For Entrees, we usually go with the Ahi Tuna, Lamb Shank Osso Bucco, or Chicken Franciese. The menu does not change often, but again, the meals are always reliable and delicious. Good for a relaxing night in Hightstown.

Charming and Cozy Dining Experience This cozy restaurant has a quaint and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We ordered medium-rare steaks, but they initially came out more medium-well. Fortunately, the server handled it promptly and professionally. The replacement steaks were perfect—nicely charred on the outside and beautifully red on the inside. Delicious and cooked just right. Another plus: it’s BYOB, which makes the evening even more enjoyable and affordable. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our first visit. They are BYOB. Restaurant has a very family friendly feel. Our server Andrea was very sweet and helpful especially with recommendations for the great desserts. 🦐 crabmeat stuffed shrimp with lemon butter sauce was delectable as was the chicken Francese. Caesar salad has a nice light dressing with great flavor.

We had a lovely dinner tonight. Our first time here. The food was delicious, the service was great. We really enjoyed ourselves. I can’t believe I have lived on the area for 18 years and never been. We will be back. Our server was Andrea and she was a delight. Go give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
