Fayetteville Public Works Department

Village of Fayetteville DPW is fantastic. You often see them at work around the village and I especially love seeing them vacuum up the leaves I rake to the street. Even on a rainy day! You guys and gals rock!! And your hard work doesn't go unnoticed. Even if you don't think we see your efforts, we do. THANK YOU!!

The absolute worst. I don't even know why I'm paying taxes if they can't bother to plow in a timely fashion. Sidewalks are impassable, and if you call, they interrupt, lie, and yell at you. Not to mention they discriminate against disabled people, and they file false police reports against people peacefully protesting.

I felt that I had to speak up and defend the Fayetteville DPW. I have lived all over Onondaga County, and I can tell you that these guys are the best of the best! They pick up almost any kind of debris, they constantly have trucks going around to pick up yard waste, they plow and maintain not only the roads and sidewalks but the pond for skaters, and too many other services to list! They do a great job, and if we are outside we always thank them! Village taxes are the only taxes I don't complain about!
