Fat Jack’s BBQ

Food was excellent. Large portions and delicious. Atmosphere was a bit plain, nothing special. For me, it’s the food that matters, not an entertaining atmosphere.

First time here at this location. Fat Jacks has been around for many years, but I haven't eaten their food in a long time. It was empty on a Thursday night at dinner time. We liked what the menu had to offer so we decided to stay. I ordered a dry rub half rack of pork ribs with M mac and cheese and green beans for sides. My husband got ribs with sauce, wings, and burnt ends. The dry rub ribs had too much dry seasonings on top. I scraped a lot of it off. The ribs were tender and the meat fell off the bone. The sides left a lot to be desired, and the burnt ends were a little dry for our taste. The pecan pie I had for dessert was yummy. This place is incredible! The service was top notch! Jeanne was our server and she was the sweetest most down to earth person i have had the pleasure of meeting in this industry! Nothing was too much trouble! She knew the menu as well as told us about their specials and told us to grab a free dessert because we spent over 50.00. The food was outstanding! They have gained a lifelong customer!

Place an order at this restaurant for dinner for 8 people on New Year's Eve. I clearly told the guy taking the order that I needed enough food for 8 people. They charged me $350 for the order and when I got home, they gave me enough potato salad and mac & cheese for 1 person. Also, the amount of food that we received was so little for $350.00, we could not believe it! Please see pictures below. I called thinking that they made a mistake, and they refused to take responsibility or fix the issue. They put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up the phone. I called back and they picked up the phone and told me there was nothing they could do. The staff is rude and ignorant and if they make a mistake don't expect them to fix it because they won't.
