Fat Baby's Country Cooking

Updated: Thank you for such a great experience!! We were driving from Myrtle Beach to Virginia Beach, then to Long Island NY. Hopefully heading back that way next year and we will definitely go out of our way to get here again. This is one of my definite fives across the board. We were on a long drive and decided it was time to eat, and Fat Baby’s had some decent reviews, so we stopped. I don’t think that i have ever had such an authentic southern experience in my life. The food selection was excellent! We all had the fried chicken. It was fantastic. I had mashed potatoes with gravy, and turnip greens for sides. Also hush puppies. Real Southern home cooking! I have only eaten breakfast here and it's fabulous. I always get the bowl with buttery grits, scrambled eggs and smoked sausage cut up bite sized with a grilled buttery biscuit and a coffee. This place reminds me of an old fashioned diner that I used to love going to when I was knee high to a grasshopper. I love the atmosphere and that staff can really start you day off right

Super good food, and really friendly staff. I can't get over how good everything was. I got the tenderloin and rice. The tenderloin was so tenderloin. Definitely recommend stopping here to eat. They also serve lunch, and the lunch menu had so many different options. Will surely be going back soon.

A little top loud. Food was good beside over season the eggs with pepper. First time would come back. Great prices
