So me and the wife decided to see what the fuss is all about. We pull up and there is a line of people basically going out the door. So we waited and got the toasted Cajun turkey with pepper and 2 cannoli's. We waited awhile for the food but considering the line and the first bite I had of this sandwich! Well let's say it was well worth the wait. This sandwich had so much flavor, the wife and I were blown away. In order to get a 5 star from me it has to be good. Well deserved. The cannoli was amazing also. Ill be back for sure and can't believe I waited so long to come here!
A MUST TRY if you are even remotely near Santa Fe! First time experience was amazing from start to finish! Andy took our order, and was so helpful plus hilarious. You have the option to get chips as a side or a pasta salad from their fridge, we got the Italian and a potato salad. Both were delicious, with lots of flavor. I ordered the Italian melt and my husband the cheese steak , we tried both and again, everything hot, very fresh ingredients, and delicious. The cannolis were recommended and gosh they were just scrumptious. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I would 100% be back to try other sandwiches!!!
Andy sat at the register, joked with us, knew about his food, and delivered on everything he promised. I would give this place 10 stars. The sandwiches were so good. Hubby’s pasta salad unlocked a quest for a new recipe, so we went back and bought two more, plus a pound of ham and cheese for lunches this week. We’re too full to try the cannolis, but they came home with us!
I will say that Andy really cares about everyone who comes in. It's great when you find someone who will do more than just serve you a hoagie. I appreciate that as that it great customer service. The subs we ordered were an 11/10 and made to order. They were totally worth the money. Honestly though the dessert cake slices were not worth it. The cake was ok, the icings were not great and the slice was thin. The value for the money was not good at all. But the subs were great. I'll definitely be back for subs, pasta and the great service.
Been hearing good things about Fat Andy’s for a while and finally got to check it out. When you come, bring your appetite. I barely finished the “small” sub. Fresh ingredients make everything so tasty. The owner was in site greeting and waiting on customers. Very friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to return.
