Farnsworth Cocktail & Oyster Bar - Waterville, OH

1st time in. Made a reservation. Small place, very busy. Had 8 total drinks between the 3 of us and all were above average. Kudos to the bartender. Small food menu but we liked everything that was ordered. Get the raspberry filled beignets for dessert!

Nov. 2025: Great little restaurant in an old bank. Reservation recommended. Food is consistently excellent. Handcrafted cocktails are excellent as well. Great service. Prices are about the same as chain restaurants but the portions are smaller and the quality is much better. Nice atmosphere. Fairly quiet.

Not a new patron, we love this place! We went often when they first opened, hadn’t been in almost a year and made a date night of it tonight. Our server Melanie was fantastic beginning to end. Every course was delectable, as always (best scallops I’ve ever had tonight). We were able to get an off-menu dessert which happens to be my husband’s favorite. They accommodated a special to-go request for our teenager, who was so jealous we were going without him tonight. Kudos, FCB! You have exceeded my expectations once again.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s so unique and cozy inside. The staff was very friendly and they really took their time to make each dish perfectly presentable and delicious. I will definitely be back. The gnocchi was good, the maple syrup gave it a sweetness that complimented the sausage. The burger was amazing! I didn’t eat the bun because it was huge but the flavor was spot on. My husband said the oysters were delicious! The lemon drop was also incredible

I booked a tasting dinner for our very first visit to Farnsworth Cocktail Bar to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a whim. We were blown away by this hidden gem! The owner, Josh, and his wonderful crew (including his Chef Josh) put together an amazing food and wine pairing. The atmosphere is vibrant, intimate and welcoming in a historic old bank. Staff was friendly and engaging. Price-to-value was exceptional. Even the littlest details were impressive - like how an oyster bar (and we were sitting on top of it) has zero fishy smells. I couldn't recommend this place enough. We will bring friends here and possibly book some private work dinners too. Bravo Josh and the Farnsworth Team! Sincerely, Eric & Jamie Short
