Farm's House Restaurant

The most important thing about this place is that it has the best sea food soup this side of the Atlantic! Converted barn, great space! The service was alright! One server, but the place was not too busy! As I was leaving then It started to fill up! More servers showed up! You won’t be disappointed with the food!

The waitress seemed annoyed and rushed even though we were there at opening. We had to find her to get the check. Maybe she was having an off day. The actual service was great she just wasn't in a good mood. We were celebrating my Mom's 83rd birthday. She grew up in Beaumont so it was a special breakfast. The food was delicious and fresh. The decor and atmosphere was great. The other dinners even stopped and chatted with Mom which was sweet.

First time here as we are from out of town here for an appointment and wanted to stop for breakfast. Pictures looked good, so we tried it each getting something different. Everything was great! Eggs Benedict, Chili Verde (not spicy & great flavor), pork chops.

I haven't been there in years so we decided to go try it and I took my wife for the first time. We ordered lunch and I had ordered the fried chicken and my wife had ordered the croissant with avocado and turkey. We split an order of chili cheese fries.Which those were amazing. Unfortunately the lunch plates were not. My chicken was so overcooked that the meat itself was hard as a rock. The zucchini on my plate was burnt but still raw. My wife's croissant was burnt as well as the turkey seemed to be about to spoil. You don't grill a croissant sandwich.The croissant was burnt on top, which that led me to believe that their croissants are refrigerated and they needed some way of warming them up.So they weren't that fresh. Actually I was railroaded into the Mexican restaurant that was connected to the farm house and the food was awful. No flavor and the meat was dry and tasteless. I should have just left rather than waste over $30. I ordered the combo fajitas and there was a lot of food and I was given a to-go container, and 3 days later the food is still in my fridge. I had driven a long way to try this place, so I wasted time, gas and $$.
