Farmington Public Library

Farmington Public Library has a fantastic kids section. They have lots of different types of media. The process to sign up for a membership was simple. The ladies working during our visit were extremely pleasant and helpful. They offer many services standard to a public library as well as others that aren’t typical (i.e. fishing rods).

Cute little small town library. Centrally located right off main street by the post office. I take my kids here a couple times a week for their great kids programs like movie time, tween book club, Steam club, and Lego club. There are a few computers, a children's room, a teen area, and a couple reading areas and study tables. For adults they have a lot of programs too including cookbook club, Friday dessert and movie, and a knitters group. They are small so they don't have the largest selection of books but they are connected to a large group of local libraries including Springdale so you can order from there and pick up at this location.

My family and I absolutely adore Farmington Public Library! The kids' section is fantastic, offering a wide range of media. The membership sign-up process was straightforward, and the staff are incredibly polite and helpful.

My kids and I love this little library so much!!! We live in Fayetteville, but much prefer to come to the Farmington Library. Despite their smaller size, they tend to have the selection of books and media that we’re looking for when Fayetteville Library surprisingly does not. They also make it very easy to request titles from other Washington County Libraries for pickup in Farmington. They have super fun kids’ programs and activities. Marie is literally the nicest person I’ve ever met and she remembers EVERYONE’S names!!! Honestly, this library is worth favoring just for the kindness and service you’ll receive from Marie! This place is great! Friendly staff and a good selection of books and movies. It's fairly small but a good selection none the less. Many computers you can use for free, printing is also only 10 cents per page which is great. Nice and quiet and they have places to sit down and read.
