Fareway Meat and Grocery

Fareway grocery store in Waverly, Iowa, is a great location. They always have a clean store and stock shelves. You have a really good meat counter with different cuts of fish, chicken, pork, beef, and sometimes more 😏

Cashier made us wait 10 minutes because she couldn't read the price and did not know the sale going on I had to find it in the add we were close to the number for a free item they would not give it to us. Bad experience she was not understanding. Bad experience and I worked at a fareway and I can tell you she could have done a much better job. Please get your customers in and out better.

Always fresh produce, large selection at meat counter, and friendly service!

They were closing! It was close to 9 pm and I was still shopping. I greedely hugged my cart as i pushed it meticulously down each aisle. There were just so many sale tags posted that caught my attention. Honestly, it was not my fault. I not once, however, felt rushed, hurried, or scoffed at. Employees helped me along the aisles and at checkout. They even brought my groceries out to the car in the cold weather after 9 struck the hour. Where most stores/companies have lost customer appreciation, the Fareway of Waverly put the appreciation back into this customer with their patience and their willingness. Walmart just lost another consumer because Fareway is closer, less traffic, and the meats... ARE fresher, I mean, they just are! To the young fellow that helped me put my bags onto the red

Great selection at this location, with fresh high quality produce. The clerks are always pleasant and helpful. I look forward to each visit.
