Famous Uncle Al's Hotdogs

I hadn't been to a famous Uncle Al's in several years but they were known for having good food at reasonable prices. I was extremely disappointed in this location on my recent visit. The empty tables were dirty and had not been bussed while the staff were occupied having personal conversations. We ended up sitting at the counter which also had not been cleaned. The grill was not cleaned in between orders during the entire time we sat there. This was evident in the taste of the food. The fries were brown instead of golden making me question the cleanliness of the grease as well. Both of our meals turned out to be inedible. The prices were exorbitant based on the quality of the food. Don't waste your time or your money. I do not recommend Famous Uncle Al's.

First time coming here and it was absolutely delicious. The owner welcomed us and even cooked. The place was clean and well maintained, even the bathroom! My group had two dogs (Al’s classic and the San Antonio) and a patty melt. The dogs were cooked to perfection with generous toppings. The patty melt was buttery and flavorful. I truly enjoyed coming to this establishment and dining here! Must try if you are in the area

Stopped into this location for lunch. It's been some years, but the food was great, the staff was very pleasant. Everything was great!! Go check them out, burgers, dogs, sausages and more!!!

This was the best hot dog ive ever had. This place is what america is all about! I love the Chicago style hot dog and this place serves the best Chicago dog ive ever had. Everything is fresh and made to order, i love it.

Made a quick stop for a quick bite me and the bro got us a couple of dogs and left. I enjoyed mine quite thoroughly because I like all kinds of goodies on mine. They were tasty and snappy and fast. Inside people were nice and cool.
