Family Dough Bagels

Stopped in for a quick morning bite to eat. This place exceeded our expectations. The cheddar jalapeno bagel was something magical with just the right crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It really was cooked to perfection. Loved seeing the other enticing things to motivate me to come back.

Very good bagels. I used to live in New York, and these are very close! The bagels are HUGE. Not your average size bagel. It is like a solar eclipse over a small bagel. I just discovered their Scallion-Cheddar Creak Cheese the other day, and it is to die for! I love their jalapeño-cheddar bagels.

Great NYC style deli and bagel place. Has a large selection of bagels and a couple of pastry items. They use Boars head deli meats and cheeses. They also do a very good bagel and lox. They have a small seating area so better to take to go. And they close early, so I'm a little disappointed I won't be able to get a bacon egg and cheese for dinner. But it's great little place with friendly staff good food, and don't forget to get you a martinelli apple juice for the full New York flavor.

UPDATE 2026! — My visits have increased dramatically as I am truly a forever customer of Family Dough! The muffins, OMG! SO GOOD! I’ve had every single muffin flavor they make, and every single one was soft, moist and delicious! I crave them ;). My favorite bagel flavors are the everything, herb & garlic, blueberry and of course the holiday special ones! I have never had one bad thing there… ever!!! They are always coming out with something new and they are really such an amazing bagel shop!!!! Pricing is still just as affordable as it’s always been and I’m already looking forward to my next visit! My FAVORITEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE LOCAL BAGEL/BAKERY EVER!!!!!!!!! I don’t even know where to begin. 1. The family who owns and runs this shop is AMAZING. 2. The food is SPECTACULAR! 3. A BANG FOR YOUR

Awesome bagels ! Omg the cinnamon and sugar bagel was so good. The everything bagels were also delicious. The Jersey, pork roll, egg and cheese is the best around! Have not had one better in Mint Hill or Charlotte. Reminds me of up North! The Cinnabon is freaking amazing. Friendly service! Extremely clean with plenty of parking.
