Family Diner

This is our first time being here and let's just say it was quite interesting. I called to make sure it was ok for us to bring my wife's service dog. I called and talked to a manager there. She said no. No service animals were allowed. My wife called back and she talked to someone different and they said yes we could. So we made our way over there we got welcomed at the door. They asked if she was a service dog. We said yes . After that everything was smooth as can be. The service from julia L was the best. The food was good nothing spectacular . The pancakes were the best though. Even found someone's chocolate gravy I like. Being a Yankee from up north we don't have that up there. The environment was awesome with tvs galore. Food is great with good size servings at reasonable prices. Plenty of room to sit and chat over coffee in the morning for us old folks! Service is fantastic by curteous and pleasant servers. Great family oriented business! Love eating here and socializing! You all should stop by!

Ok where do I start, we have been there 3 times, I was thinking 3rd was charm but no!!! We ordered 30 dollars steaks ordered baked potato it had been warmed at least several times it was scorched brown, steak had good taste but my boyfriend's was raw, small salad not even with good lettuce. also we came the first time a gentleman medicine at the door told us not to get something that he had ordered I got a steak she got a burger the burger wasn't good at all my steak was good that time charged me extra for salad and we didn't get very good service that time second time the food she got was not good at all she said it was very dry overcooked I got a steak and it was not very good at all again the salad bar was not worth what they charged the steak was not worth what they charged been the th

Everything was good except the white gravy, I don't understand why the gravy had no flavor. The employees were very nice and the whole place is like one big family. I'd eat there again . It's beautiful how the place backs up to a mountain.

I was highly disappointed with our whole experience. Gonna lay it all out... Service was basically non-existent and the food was just not good. Went in and tables were wet and dirty from previous diners, but no other options so we had to sit at a dirty table. And not wet from being wiped off, it was drink and plate/bowl rings, food bits etc. It was a couple of minutes before we were given menus and got drinks. And we were not the only ones, a few more tables seated themselves a bit after we came in because nobody was there to seat them or speak at all. Which if your thing is for customers to seat themselves that's fine, but have a sign or a person saying so. And have clean tables available, or at least someone making an effort to clean them.
