Customer Reviews
So where do I start. The waitresses there were awesome. The food not so much. My wife ordered a cheeseburger with pickles and onions. An order of mozzarella sticks and a baked potato. We made sure to tell them to cook the cheeseburger longer cause raw meat just absolutely disgusting to her. We get back to collinwood take.a.bite. nothing but pink and cold. Called them they fixed it for me. Told me that they would make me another one for me whenever I came back in. Called yesterday to collect that burger they gave us the bake potato again. The lady at the counter said she would make sure it was correct this time. Got home took one bite of it. It was more pink then the first one I got from there. I gave up. So my recommendation. Don't eat here unless you want your meat cooked rare
Love this place! I had the southwest chicken and a chess pie. Both were great.
The food was very good, very reasonably priced and the portions were pretty large. I had the fillet mignon and two side and it was only $26 and that was quite a bit higher than most of the other entrées. Our server was on point and very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Will be going back there
This is a nice place to eat with good food and a little bit of local history on the walls to view. The challenge here is the stairs to enter are steep and was difficult for my family member to enter. I preferred she not have that concern. Staff was kind to me after walking many miles to a governing agency and let me sit for a glass of cold water. She added lemon for “electrolytes” to “give me energy”. Their staff has always been kind.
I am a chef. I would not have been pleased to serve the dishes that was served the first time. The second time was a bit better. Cold was the first (well in the danger zone), second time the dishes were made correctly and tasted better. Nothing was done for the exception of the remake. Service was better than the dishes. Atmosphere is very nice. It is a shame that the management does not care enough to meet the guest, with a issue to try to correct this before they get a review like this. Just wanted to update this post. The manager of this restaurant did in fact talk to me and my wife about the issue. She comp the dishes and apologized for the dishes being cold. Which made me go from a 2 star rating to a 4 star.
