Customer Reviews
We visited on a January Friday morning. No wait for a seat and our food came out quickly. Theresa was very attentive. Overall we were happy with our visit. My husband ordered the western omlette with white toast and homefries. He loved the flavor of the omlette and the home fries. Know before you go: his cheddar jack cheese was a $0.75 upcharge, and upgrading to home fries (from grits) was a $2.00 upcharge. I ordered the Eggs Benedict. The flavor was good, I did feel the hollandaise was a bit thin. I upgraded to the hashbrown casserole, listed as an additional $1.90, but I was charged $2.00. It was very tasty. As with many family owned businesses, there is a small charge for paying with card, bring cash if you want to not pay the service fee.
I was hesitant to try this place. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside but AM I GLAD I DID!! Got off my night shift and had Eggs Benedict and Hash brown Casserole. It was perfect! Prices are great! Server Teresa does it before you even ask ~ she is top notch!! I took an extra to go order home with me because I enjoyed the food so much! Can't wait to check out their dinner menu next visit.
We stopped in at the Family Diner and Cafe which has a sign out front for Mother Earth, we were not sure if it was the right place. We went inside and was pleasantly surprised. We love diners! If you like diners this place is worth a dine in. We were there for breakfast. Good selection to choose from. Prices were reasonable. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. We will be back again before we head home.
We stumbled upon Family Diner Café and were charmed by its quaint, cozy vibe. The food? Absolutely spectacular. Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. As a warm welcome for being first-time guests, we were even treated to free desserts—cheesecake and baklava—and both were incredible. Rich, flavorful, and clearly homemade. That said, our experience started off a bit rough. The moment we walked in, the smell of cigarette smoke was overwhelming—so much so that we almost turned around and left. The owner assured us that it’s a non-smoking facility, but the lingering odor told a different story. To be fair, no one smoked during our time there, but the scent was definitely present. Despite the smell, we decided to stay, and we’re really glad we did. The hospita
Very disgusted! The food wasn't cooked all the way on my meal, and I was upcharged $2.50 by the server and wasn't told I would be. I was charged two dollars more for fried potatoes that weren't cooked well. When I asked to swap the grits for the homefries on the cheaper breakfast, the server said I had to order the breakfast that was a dollar more to swap the grits to potatoes. Why in the world did she charge me yet another two dollars when i had to pay for the more expensive meal that came with the same thing except for the meat? I didn't even want the meat!! She made me get a breakfast that was a dollar more with things i didn't want so i could swap grits for potatoes, and she still charged me more than was on the menu. If i knew there was an upcharge, then i wouldn'thave made the sw
