Family Café

Family cafe is a small resturaunt in downtown cedar hills where no matter what I get its always one of the best things I've ever had. The textures and flavors are always superb and the portion size and pricing is incredibly reasonable. The bread is soft and chewy and lightly sweet, the iraqi tea is complex and bright, the rice is heavenly. Everything is always seasoned in such a way that the spices are big and present, but the core dish ingredient (rice, carrots and peas, fava beans, chicken, etc) is able to be equally present on the pallette. The apmosphere is warm and cozy, very inviting. I cant recommend family cafe enough, we are blessed as a community to have them.

We went to lunch at "Family Cafe," in Beaverton, OR, today. Absolutely delicious and very friendly, courteous owners. We had the chicken plate and a veggie omelet, with a mushroom spinach pastry. We also got a delicious, fruit smoothie. Got beautiful pastries, to go. Can't wait to go back soon. Cute, authentic atmosphere.

Yeah, this place is outrageously good. Haven’t had Turkish-style coffee for years and it’s excellent. The lamb and eggs are off the charts good, the dates and eggs were a fantastic surprise I’d never had before. The halawa is awesome too, literally didn’t put a foot wrong the entire time 😋

A lovely and quaint spot right here in Beaverton. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The family who runs this spot are so nice, too. You can tell that everything here is made with love for their culture and we are grateful to be able to experience it. We will definitely be coming back and are so thankful to have such a standout local option 💐

Family Cafe is such a cozy and welcoming spot! We especially enjoyed the coffee and the Iraqi tea with the lamb dish—it was so authentic and delicious.
