Pita bread they use is soft and chewy, which I liked. Not sure why sauce is being raved about as it’s just your typical mayo and sriracha. Shawarma was room temperature because they pre-slice the meat and leave it on the counter. Service leaves a lot to be desired. They automatically imposed a 15% tip on my takeout order. Ultimately would come back as there aren’t many other options around Emory but definitely not a weekly thing.

The chicken shawarma was pretty great. Well cooked and flavorful. Could use a bit more salt. The ramen is fast food ramen, but not back for $8. This place is very busy and I can see why. Greetings from Asheville, North Carolina.

Falafel King is an Emory Village staple. It is one of the longest residing restaurants in this location, which speaks to its solid food. I have been coming here for more than a decade. The prices are reasonable. The falafel is always on point. I honestly do not think I've had better falafel elsewhere in Atlanta. The schwarma is flavorful and juicy. Their pink sauce is creamy, spicy, and really brings the dishes together.

First time here at Falafel King despite being a student for a while now. There's a couple tables outside and a few bar and table seats inside - overall small though. The prices are really affordable and food is made very quick. It's a small mom and pop local restaurant but definitely very popular with students. I got a shawarma platter and stuffed grape leaves and edamame for my 2 sides. The shawarma tasted really good and came with an orange sauce(?) not sure what it was though. There was a bed of lettuce, cucumber, and a few other veggies. The stuffed grape leaves was cold and had a grainy hard texture inside. I wasn't a huge fan, maybe because the only other stuffed grape leaves were made from my friends parents with their family recipe. The edamame tasted kinda old, very flimsy outer

2nd time i requested Shawarma and told the female owner what i want in it and both times even after she confirmed there was no lettuce, got back to my dorm and theres the lettuce. The male owner is kind and thoughtful however his wife clearly doesnt like serving customers anymore, if you dont tip for take-out she will screw your order up. She never smiles absolutely miserable person
