Fairground Cafe

Staff was wonderful. I ordered a chicken fried steak breast meal, which was awesome! I also ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and a chicken salad. Both of these items were TERRIBLE. The chicken had a sharp smell and taste, which is typically an indication that it was either spoiled or close to spoiling prior to cooking. The buffalo wrap had mostly brown lettuce in it with no cheese, no ranch/blue cheese, and a very small drizzle of hot sauce that was located at the bottom of the wrap. The salad , (chicken Caesar) had a table spoon a Parmesan cheese, No anchovies, and The dressing was not creamy. It looked like an Italian dressing. I didn’t even bother to try it because everything was so terrible. Please do better.

Went here the other day with my husband. When we walked in, we were the only ones waiting, yet it took about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us. It didn’t appear to be busy at the time. Once seated, our waitress was kind and took our drink and food order. Unfortunately, our drinks didn’t arrive until after our food, and only after we asked for them. The food arrived on the colder side, and although we wanted to ask for it to be warmed, our waitress never returned to check on us. We eventually had to flag her down just to get the check. Overall, we were severely disappointed, especially given the many great reviews this place has received.

The food was delicious. Breakfast, lunch or Dinner. My omelette was very good. The raisin toast was delicious. The cafe was well organized and friendly staff. The prices were reasonable. The service was friendly and helpful. You can get to go or eat outside at the tables. I will go back. Please follow me 👍🏼👍🏼

Very friendly staff, great atmosphere! Just a local breakfast place that's always filled with people chatting over coffee and eggs in the morning. Small-town feel, I feel right at home.

We had heard good things from neighbors so we decided to try it out. Unfortunately the warmest part of our breakfast was the coffee. Everything else was served cold and late by a very absent waitress, who I was told was a manager by another waitress we had to flag down. A portion of what we ordered we had to ask for multiple times and ended up getting it to go-which is what’s pictured. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes for that. She gave us a 25% discount after we complained but honestly I care more about the fact that this didn’t seem to be the first time she had done this to customers.
