Fairborn Family Diner & Restaurant

Tonight I went to the Amvets Post 148, in Medway for a fish fry, but they had moved it to next week. On the way home I was hungry and looking for someplace else to grab dinner. I stopped at the Fairborn Family Diner & Restaurant. I had driven by this place many times. I had even stopped once and went in looking for someplace else but, I had never eaten there. I'll be honest, I entered with very low expectations. A waitress brought my tea and menu after seating me at a table. I thought that I would keep it simple. I ordered a deluxe cheese burger, French fries and coleslaw. When the waitress returned with my meal I wasn't sure what to think. Everything looked freshly done. If you like old diners / Mom & Pop places you may like this place. We had great service and the place is definitely out dated. Our food was okay. Nothing to brag on we both got basic breakfast meals. I did notice a lot of people were eating chicken & dumplings. We went mid afternoon. I would recommend trying this place. We didn't have a bad experience. Too each is there own!

Staff is awesome, super friendly and helpful. Food is great about $12-$15 a meal but the portions are large and you get more than what you pay for. Atmosphere is wonderful definitely a family feel. Love it here keep doing y’all thing

I visited here once when my family first moved to Ohio. The food was good. Our waitress was friendly and fast. It has the family restaurant vibe that gives you the feeling of when you were young, and would go to the diner with your family. I enjoyed it.

The food was fantastic came out quick it was nice and quiet at night. But the service was ify the waitress was nice but while eating they were saying about how we should already be gone and making it very clear they wanted us to hurry. We felt very rushed and they were staring at us the whole time. The place is kinda nice but very church old vibe.
