Came here with one mission — their Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cake — and it absolutely delivered. Packed with generous, sweet lumps of crab and barely any filler, it’s delicately seasoned to let the seafood shine. The sides hold their own, too. The mac and cheese is creamy and comforting while the collard greens bring a savory, slow-cooked depth that balances the plate perfectly. Add in the warm, friendly service and a storefront that instantly draws you in with its bold, quirky signs and slogans, and the whole experience feels both welcoming and memorable. A spot that knows its craft and its character.

Loved the crab cake, crab soup, and catfish sandwich! This is a unique spot inside the Lexington Market. The crab cake is rich and creamy, the coleslaw in the sandwich is delicious, and the soup was full of flavor. The service was also very friendly. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Classic Baltimore crab cakes. Eat there (standing tables only) or get them to-go. Don’t skimp on the raw bar! The oysters are incredible and the steamed mussels and shrimp are very flavorful. A little awkward trying to sit my toddler on the table while we gorge in seafood- but absolutely worth it.

Big, delicious crab cakes in a fun, no frills environment - and make sure to get a few deviled eggs! My daughter and I stopped in here on a Friday for lunch in May, 2025. We parked in a nearby garage and walked a block or two to visit the market, but specifically Faidley's after doing a search for "biggest crab cakes in Baltimore." The entire market is great with a ton of options available to complement your crab cakes if needed. The service was quick and it's standing only with high top tables. The crab cakes were a little pricey but worth it for both the taste and the experience.
