They obviously do somethings better than other, but this place is a base hit in any man's league. Very flavorful food in general. Portions are of value when paired next to pricing, and they have an efficient way to keep things fresh and ready to order.
Absolutely disgusting! Kinda disappointed since all the locals hyped this place up tremendously. Oxtail was dry, bland, and had more bone than meat. Cabbage tasted like moldy wet gym sock. Only decent item Mac and cheese tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours… They also shorted us a side of rice. Will not be back.
No words can describe how good the food is at this place. I’m originally from New York and it’s hard in the South to find a real good Caribbean restaurant. Every time I’m in Georgetown, I stop by this restaurant.
Eve's is what I call local food and service you DO write home about. I'll say, back home, there's no establishments like her restaurant. Loved the place so much we couldn't stop talking and thinking about it after the first visit. We came back a 2nd time the same week before I had to fly back home. Tried about half the menu from the jerk chicken, curry goat, curry oxtail, and ribs. Don't forget about the sides! Collard greens, candied yams, plaintains, potato salad, chicken rice, corn bread. Ginger tea, lemonade. Pound cake. Peach cobbler. D E L I C I O U S. The portions were all just right for the price and the food is really packing with flavor. Favorites are definitely the jerk chicken, chicken rice, and plaintains, corn bread was the perfect type of sweet! To really top it off, we real
This was my first time here. The customer service was really nice. The atmosphere seem nice, but the food was horrible. I had oxtail's a piece of chicken collard green's corn bread. PAN cake 30 dolland it was disgusting taste old. Taste like it has sugar in the greens The fried chicken was okay.
