What an incredible culinary experience! We ordered the vegan platter along with beans, lentils, chicken, and beef, and every bite was bursting with rich, authentic Ethiopian spices and flavor. The balance and depth of the seasonings were outstanding. What truly impressed me was that even my four grandkids loved every single dish—no small feat! The owner and cook were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. You can truly feel the love and care that goes into the food. The sweet message written on the injera was a beautiful, thoughtful touch that added warmth to the entire meal. Innovative take on traditional Ethiopian food. The taste and presentation are A1! The injera was fresh and the tibs tasted really authentic.

My new favorite takeout spot in Santa Clarita! I have been craving Ethiopian ever since we moved here. I was so pleased to discover the owner is also very focused on health and sustainability. All the dishes that came with the Vegan Connoisseur were delicious and perfectly spiced - perfect amount of spice and not too oily. The owner uses organic ingredients and 100% teff injera (gluten free). If you don’t know about this amazing super grain, look it up. The food comes in NoTree compostable containers - much better for our own health and the environment than plastic or styrofoam. Thank you and we will definitely be ordering again soon!

We tried Ethio Bites at the SCV Hub on cinema drive and l. I've never had Ethiopian food before but it had great flavor and I enjoyed everything and want to go back. We got Derek Tibs which was pieces of beef with tomatoes and onions with rosemary and other spices . A lentil stew with ginger - Alicha Missir Wot The injera was so different - very spongy and tasty and according to my research better for you because of the teff it is made with. I really want to try the other dishes now. Everything was packed well - the hot dishes in compostable containers and the Injera in a different container. We really enjoyed both dishes This is inside a food hall so it’s not fair to use atmosphere - all I know is I am grateful to have such delicious food near me
