There are very few true 5-star restaurants in Santa Clarita. This is one of them. Period. We’ve come FOUR times in the past two weeks — that should tell you everything. Every single visit, the food has come out hot, consistent, and made with top-quality ingredients. Here’s what we’ve devoured so far: • Boudin Balls – Crispy on the outside, perfectly seasoned rice, pork, and Cajun spices inside, dipped in remoulade. I could easily eat a dozen in one sitting. They are dangerously good. • Fried Shrimp Po’ Boy – New Orleans-style bread, perfectly fried shrimp, sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. Authentic. Balanced. Addicting. I’ve ordered it every time. • Red Beans & Rice – People rarely get this right. These beans are creamy, deep, soulful. And the sausage? It tastes like Louisiana. We w
If you want real Louisiana comfort food, this place absolutely delivers. We started with the boudin balls and they were perfect—crispy outside, flavorful and juicy inside. The fried catfish platter was golden, fresh, and cooked just right (not greasy at all). The shrimp po’boy was honestly heavenly — served on a fresh baguette with coleslaw, and it had the perfect crunch and flavor in every bite. The seafood gumbo was the star for me—rich, hearty, and full of seafood, and it paired so well with the red beans and rice. The chicken jambalaya had great seasoning and that classic Louisiana flavor without being overly salty. On top of the food, the owner Ray and his team were fantastic—true gentlemen. They all greeted us, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made us feel genuinely welco
Large portions. The hot honey chicken is good and comes with fries. The red beans and rice are good filled with large chunks of sausage. The jambalaya is NEXT LEVEL AMAZING! The shrimp poboy tastes authentic. The gumbo is filled with shrimp, sausage and crab. The roast beef poboy was the biggest surprise and is hands down the best poboy (it's shredded and delicious served hot)! Please add hush puppies, fried okra, and chocolate benoit to the menu.
Everyone was so kind and welcoming! The guy at the counter walked us through the menu, as it was our first time there. We got the Cajun shrimp po'boy and a side of red beans, and rice and a fried catfish po'boy and a side of jambalaya to go. Everything was so delicious and beyond expectation! We can't wait to go back.
Went to college in NOLA and this fulfilled my cravings. Absolutely delicious and the owner has an amazing attitude. Everything is cooked to order and fresh. Highly recommend to others.
