Hey! I noticed some reviews mention the atmosphere, but honestly, it adds to the authenticity of the experience. The food was absolutely delicious—I highly recommend the Paelha Valenciana with Lobster. It’s not your typical Spanish paella; it’s slightly watery, which makes it unique and flavorful. Real deal Portuguese food and drinks, not fancy but delicious... tons of Portuguese at the place makes the experience slightly better, thinking that you are there in a way. They have daily dishes that are typically super good and different things to try out. Stop by if you can.

Tasty, but is it still Portuguese? The Carne de Porco Alentejena was perfect. Maybe the best I’ve had in the US. Their Bifana, on the other hand, was way off. It’s not served in the traditional artisan roll and the pork was marinated in spices and sautéed onions. Bifanas should be simple, cooked with olive oil, crushed garlic and salt. The sandwich was good, just not what I was hoping for. The cafe is catered for blue collar European sport fans so don’t expect any warm ambiance. The service is great and the staff are very friendly Please give it a try if interested in starting your journey into Iberian Peninsula cuisine.
