Espresso 101

Sweet employee greeted us with a smile. I had a couple of questions which she readily answered. Our coffee was perfect! I had a skinny toasted marshmallow, chocolate latte with oat milk. Mr. Wonderful enjoyed a spiced Mexican mocha.

I got a 24 oz drink and a super dry scone a package. I didn't even get 2 minutes down the road and my drink was curdled. So I wasted $10 the next day I went back. Told him what happened they told me. Sorry that happened but did nothing about it. They knew that the syrup that went into the drink sometimes curdle some milk but didn't take any precautions to try not to curdle the milk. I felt that taking no actions to redeem themselves told me they didn't care about their customers will not be going back. Getting into the place is very awkward. If they have more than two or three cars, they pile up into the roadway very unsafe place to get coffee.

I ordered an americano with a light splash of cream. Came out warm, almost room temp. The taste was not good, i did not want to drink it, could be a new barista, but then we gave it another chance, disappointed again.

The ladies were very nice, and made my drink perfectly both times I've been there. They also have me pup cups for my 3 dogs. Will be back next time we are in the area.

Let me tell you, as a Floridian visiting the Oregon Coast we were totally perplexed at how these little corner drive through coffee houses stayed in business, but we quickly noticed that they were busy from sun up through late afternoon. So we decided to roll into a few while we were here and Expresso 101 won our hearts (and taste buds) with their Mexican Spiced Coffee - complete with a chocolate covered coffee bean of course! Located right off of Hwy 101 in lovely Waldport it’s convenient and the girls there are just delightful and friendly. Will be back!
