EQUIS Pica Pollo (Bridgeport)

Super cold inside Someone that works there seen that we were cold and turned the heater on and 2 mins later the non English speaking lady in the front decided it was a good idea to turn the HUGE INDUSTRIAL FAN ON as we tried to dine in. The cashier didn’t even know how much portions she was supposed to give us for an 8pc. The music was way too loud couldn’t even translate what was being said in order to place an order. Chicken is indeed good. Thank god we came in soon as they dropped fresh chicken. They wouldn’t even drop fresh fries with us still having to wait 5mins on chicken. They only had thighs, wings and drum sticks NO BREAST. The mayo ketchup taste spoiled and was warm. And meal was supposed to come with a 2liter soda and they gave us a 1 liter instead

I’ve always said it’s hard to find really good fried chicken, and this place absolutely delivers. This is hands down my favorite fried chicken, Dominican style done right. The only downside is that it’s so popular you usually have to wait — but it’s 1,000% worth it every time. I used to go all the way to the Bronx for this kind of chicken, so having it finally in Connecticut is a win. If you know, you know. Highly recommend. ⸻ Siempre he dicho que es difícil encontrar buen pollo frito, y este lugar lo hace perfecto. Sin duda es mi pollo frito favorito, estilo dominicano, hecho como debe ser. Lo único negativo es que es tan popular que casi siempre hay que esperar, pero vale la pena 1,000%. Antes tenía que ir hasta el Bronx para comer este tipo de pollo, así que tenerlo por fin en Conn

El lugar estaba con una filtración increíble, la mesa no sirven casi nos caen encima y el lugar no tiene higiene que horror

Excelente pollo frito, los tostones y las papas fritas una maravilla. Un verdadero pica pollo 👍
