End of the Trail Inn

We were booked here because of a double booking in our normal location. At first we were excited about the place as we were told the accommodations were compatible. When we got inside it was wood overload. But we can get past that. A nice sitting area, large bathroom with an air jet tub. The first downside was the tub. Large, but the air is just way too much. Even putting the selection to 10%, it felt just too rough. Spit water everywhere. Some lights out. Feel that cleaning people could fix. On to the bed. It's a full bed so not much room. It was hard as rock. Very uncomfortable. Neighbor noise from room above was quite loud. Then the cold air return is literally right next to the bed. Heard it EVERYTIME the heat engaged. Not much sleep was had. Felt like the bedroom and sitting room shou

We started out downstairs and had a wonderful night sitting on the front porch and enjoying the huge jetted tub. Then we moved upstairs for 2 nights for a view of the flooding river. That was amazing. Great view from the back deck and a very cozy, but spacious suite. We enjoyed our entire stay in Grafton at this guest house. The only thing that I would change is that it would be nice to have a few bowls and some wine glasses.

When we drove past I was very worried. The outside is not well maintained. However the inside was gorgeous! Wood laminate flooring, wood walls and doors, cute kitchen, excellent large jacuzzi bath, super cute enclosed front porch. We stayed in the lower unit which is meant for 1-2 travelers only. ||The good:|*Location!|*Clean!|*Well maintained!|*Nice furnishings!|*Mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot||The moderate:|*No closets, dressers or anywhere to hang clothes|*No bed pillow|*No vanity in the bathroom or really anywhere to get ready|*No full kitchen|*No extra linens||There was nothing I'd classify as bad. We would absolutely stay here again as a couple. Very large and spacious place for two people. The owners should consider taking out the two leather chairs and putting in a sofa bed so

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary for a 1 night overnight stay. The guest house was adorable and very clean. The location was perfect and the owner was very receptive to questions or calls. We arrived in the evening and she had left the front porch light on for us. Very thoughtful.|If there were a few things that I could suggest for the owner it might be to post a check out time and possible places to go for breakfast, lunch or dinner in the area. The issue we ran into was that we couldn't find anywhere to have brunch in Grafton on a Wednesday. I guess they only expect visitors on the weekend. |The other thing that might be nice is a dresser or wardrobe to hang clothes. If you were staying an entire weekend, there isn't anywhere to put your clothes. There was a cof

This was the perfect place to stay in walking distance of wineries and shops. Beautiful view of the river. So clean too! The lower guest room has the perfect front porch to spend the evening playing cards and sharing a glass of wine. The jetted tub on the lower level was great for relaxing after all the walking in town during the day! Very pleasant stay.
