Encanto Restaurant & Bakery

Overall, this is a nice place with genuinely friendly owners and staff. There’s a good selection of food and bakery items, with something for most tastes. The only downside for me is the music—it tends to be pretty loud. Turning it down a notch would make it a much better spot to relax with a coffee, a pastry, and a good book for people that want to enjoy the bakery / cafe aspect of the business.

me and my girlfriend have been going here for awhile sense theyre right down the street and there food is good but ive been looking for the perfect chicharron, i finally got it today after trying everyone elses in volusia county THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST ONE IVE EVER HAD!if i could rate 10 stars i would just for that (sorry we already ate half the half pound before the picture 🤣)

Arrived for breakfast and decided to try tres golpes for the first time. I was expecting it to be a dish that the kitchen would prepare fresh to order, but apparently they have decided to add all the components to their cafeteria style serving area. While it probably doesn’t matter too much with regard to the salami and the mangu, but I do think getting fried eggs and fried cheese that aren’t made fresh to order and are just sitting in a warming tray is sub-optimal. Overall I would say everything tasted pretty good, and you do get a lot of food for under $10, but I will likely order something else next time. Edit with re-score: I tried this place a second time and attempted the tripleta, and it just wasn’t all that great. They did fill it with a good amount of pernil, but it was very dry

My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times since they first opened and used to really enjoy it. We spend a decent amount of money and usually buy a lot of food and bakery items. Our experience today to put it plainly SUCKED. We ordered 10 pizza empanadas, there were 6 old ones and my boyfriend asked for 10 fresh ones. The woman said that she would do that "no problem" and than gave us the 6 cold ones anyway. We also got a small order of maduros, which were cold. The person in front of him paid for $2 bills so my boyfriend asked if he could buy them, and she replied no rudely. It's very bland and dark inside. The food is OK. The rice was hard and barely had any flavor. They had run out of rotisserie chicken so I got the stewed meat and there was so many bones I barely got anything to eat. Honestly drive 5 more minutes and go to Lelo's. They serve way more food with actual flavor. They always have fresh food while the one here looks like they cooked it a while ago. Only gonna come back if I'm shopping next door. And even then I'll hesitate.
