⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Empire Donuts is seriously next level. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell these donuts are made daily with real care. The cinnamon roll donut with maple and bacon is a must-try — perfectly soft, sweet, and savory in all the right ways. The donut holes are fantastic, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything here. Every bite hits. If you’re a donut person, this place delivers. Fresh, flavorful, and consistently great. 🍩
Donut holes- very standard, very typical donut holes. These are definition donut holes. Not my favorite, could be sweeter, but have a great texture and a great glaze Old fashioned - good flavor but not as moist as I like for an old fashioned. Very good though. Better than most but not the best. Apple fritter- best of the bunch. Amazing moisture with just enough crispy edge bits to keep it interesting. Not a ton of apple or spice character but still a great donut. Chocolate cake - good texture but lacking in flavor. Not dry but also not the moist, deliciousness that I crave in a cake donut. The chocolate glaze is good, it tastes like a standard donut shop chocolate Chocolate chocolate cake - great flavor. Again, just lacking moisture. Really really great flavor Glazed twist- very avera
I went in to pick up some apple fritters for my husband. Everything looked and smelled amazing. When it was my turn to be helped the older red haired lady asked if I could wait just a moment. I said sure. She grabbed a paper towel and started wiping her nose. She told me that she wasn't sick, it was just allergies. I nodded and waited. She wiped a couple more times then put the paper towel on the table behind her and asked what I needed. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands first. She said she didn't need to because nothing had really came out. I said that he had touched her face and wiped her nose. And she again said that nothing came out. I said nope nope nope hell no ande left.
The donuts were fantastic. Not greasy. Very fresh. Limited choices but that's expected with a small shop. Prices are fair. Those complaining about price are insane. In Portland these are normal prices and this is the only donut place in Coos Bay. I would definitely come back.
Small corner doughnut shop everything one could expect plus a lil bit. Kind staff great doughnuts. I drive 45 mins for them so pretty darn good 👍.
