Empanada Stop

I cannot say enough great things about Empanada Stop and Tony. My husband had recently tried it and told me I had to go asap. So the first opportunity I got I took my friend there and we were blown away. We got the jalapeño burger, which comes with an egg on it and the bread is baked fresh while your burger is cooking!! The seared Ahi tuna sandwich was perfect and everything fresh and delicious. The house soup is piping hot and flavorful. My friends little kid got the pastrami sandwich and loved it. He said he wants to order it again when he returns. After working many years in food and beverage and experiencing a lot of amazing food I can tell you that this is a must try and you will not be disappointed. How did I not hear about this place sooner?! They have been open 8 months!? This is a gem in our area for a delicious quality meal... (Also, the nicest people own it). The Macro bowl was A+++ The house soup was yummmm .... Everything was SO GOOD. I will be back as I want to try other menu items now - I have already sent their menu to a couple friends who I know will love it too.... It is a lovely place and I hope more people stop in and give them a try.

Empanada Stop is a SLEEPER PICK!!! Google reviewers, you did not let me down! I do not live close and happen to be in Troutdale and looked up vegan/vegetarian nearby, and could not believe there were hundred of all 5⭐️s for Empanada Stop. I decided to try it out for myself and WOW … I am blown away. Thoughtfully curated and prepared ingredients, arranged so beautifully and the taste … even BETTER! The customer service is outstanding, Tony, the owner made me feel so welcomed and was soo appreciative of my visit. I am so grateful to fuel my body with all their deliciousness, I will definitely make the trek across town to dine here again! This place is INCREDIBLE - we were not prepared for the immense flavor and quality. If only I could give more stars. Tony welcomed us right away and is very passionate about the art they serve. He gave recommendations for our first time here. Everything is made from scratch, and I do mean everything. My husband and brother both got empanada meals, and I got the vegan empanada meal (was not prepared for how big this meal was!). We got a couple sauces to share, and ended up also getting the baklava and ice cream (also scratch-made). Tony has honed his craft - everything was bursting with flavor and was made with intention. Delicious choice! We enjoyed the beef and tinga chicken empanadas and their cauliflower soup. So good! And how awesome to have the complimentary ice cream and baklava! Tony and his crew do a great job with their homemade food and excellent service.
