Emilio's Stone Fired Pizzeria

This newer pizzeria in Darien really impressed us with the variety on their menu! In addition to more traditional pizzas, they had unique toppings, like baked ziti, as well as several kinds of pan pizzas. Plenty of entrees and appetizers with locally sourced gelato for dessert. The staff couldn’t have been nicer! Our only critique is we thought the crust was missing something flavor-wise. Very clean and a great spot for casual dine-in or takeout!

solid spot for both quick slices and a sit down meal of fresh pasta. the staff were friendly and accommodating to my family, providing a high-chair for my youngest. the pizza was decent but the fresh pasta and garlic knots were especially delicious.

emillio is a nice guy. His pizza is so amazing. I have never had anything so unbelievable. It is delicious my mum and I we have been back like four or five times because the pizza is just delicious. My mum says she has pizza but she’s never had pizza like she’s had at Emillio‘s on. He has multiple plant based options. I brought a plant-based cheese and he had numerous vegetable vegetables and pizza and a Stromboli and pasta and everything I eat was absolutely delicious!

Connecticut has always had a wide variety of pizza, but coming from the Bronx it’s nice to have genuine NY style pizza in Darien. But Emilio’s is more than just a great slice. Selections like his Lasagna, Meatballs, and gelato should definitely be experienced. As for the owner himself, Emilio, he goes the extra mile to make adjustments to your order to make sure you have the best meal experience you can possibly have. Eat in, take out, delivery? Whatever your preference you can’t go wrong.

This pizza was wonderful! It was provided for our vet staff and was absolutely delicious. He even added an order of garlic knots for us, which were just as amazing. Highly recommend! Great food and people!
