El’s East

The lady working the window was very nice. She was very attentive. We got the 2 cheeseburger combo with a fry and 2 drinks and then added an order of onion rings. The burgers had good flavor and were cooked well. The fries are probably the best fries we've gotten from any place down east. The onion rings were nice and crispy. All our food was very hot and fresh. We will definitely try more items on the menu.

El's East is AMAZING ! The food is cooked to order always piping hot and delicious. Sweet tea is so tasty. The service is fantastic. Can't beat the drive thru window, Joy always offers the best smile and kindness 💕🩷💕

Every town, and certainly every tourist destination, has that little gem that the locals eat at. El's East is one for sure. The prices are right, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. This is a place to enjoy local seafood without paying tourist trap prices. A shrimp plate is large enough for me to eat my fill and have some left over for lunch or a snack the next day. The El's super burger is enormous. Everything is made to order and served hot and fresh, often ready in 15-20 minutes. If you're heading Down East or to catch the Cedar Island Ferry, call ahead to order when you get to Beaufort and usually it'll be ready about the time you make it to Smyrna. El’s East is a wonderful addition to our Down East community. It is a drive up food truck( trailer) with drive through. Great domestic seafood ( best shrimp burgers around) and great Philly steak and cheese!! Never have been disappointed after eating there.

Love El's East! Never had a bad meal. Best oysters! Everything is so good I have a hard time deciding what to order. Service always great too.
