Elmont Public Library

At Elmont Library the team at the computer Desk area is remarkably helpful. Adam, Jacob, Nina, Fatima and Jordan know their stuff. Courtesy, availability and kindness are evidently their trademark. Jordan is truly a class act. They never fail to assist me in a competent and gracious manner. I am pretty sure most users of the Elmont computers would concur with me. The librarians must be fortunate to spearhead such a team!

Thank you for hosting film expert Keith Crocker today and sharing his amazing knowledge of musicians I grew up with. I’m a regular at his fun and informative presentations. tOM

It’s more than just a library, it’s a museum!

BS +++ One of the best, organized, upgraded libraries in Nassau County. The location is very calm and usually empty. Lots of quiet areas, books are updated, and there are adult, teens, kids areas. Also there are events held here often as well as movie viewing for free. They also rent games and movies. I love it here and so does my son.

First time visiting. Lovely customer service in children’s section by one of the librarians and overall. Arts and crafts for the kids. Great selection of books. They had a blind date with a book In the teens section. The hands on for the kids is closed due to covid pandemic at this time. They have movies for the public on weekends. Currently you don’t have to wear a mask if fully vaccinated but everyone was. Will be coming back again.
